This is the first edition of the Glycine Airman from 1953 featuring the AM/PM/NOON dial layout. The dial and handset are virtually flawless with only some light oxidation on the hands. Lume is nicely colored. I have chosen to leave the worn crystal as it the original and noted by collectors as correctly not having a cyclops window for the date. I know the crystal distorts the dial in the outdoor photos, all of the lines are just the crystal, not the dial. The case is unpolished with a cool strap burn mark on the back.
