The case back actually serves as the baseplate of the movement (as evidenced by the 6 rubies that are visible on the back). As a result, Audemars Piguet was able to make the watch just 5.5 mm thickTwo additional Yellow gold strap tips covers.Dial Gold dial. Tourbillon cage set at the top left corner, as a stylized sun, with "rays" of sunlight shining across the dial. Design derived from the Egyptian relief carving of the Pharaoh Akhenaten and his wife, Nefertiti, parents of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Full version of the carving presented on metal plaque on the box. Crystal Scratch Resistant Swiss made Automatic movement. Caliber 2870, contains 32 jewels. Ultra thin Tourbillon movement, 4.8mm, employs "hammer" winding movement, instead of rotor. Platinum iridium weight swings through a small arc.
